thing that differentiates my business from others is that
it's all custom.
I like to blend a very practical side with an open, creative
aspect, making the best use of time and space.
At
my center are scent, texture, color - hues of leaves and
flowers. Although my knowledge is complete, I employ a
more intuitive design based on many years of experience.
When
I design I feel like I'm making a 3-D painting using sun
and shade, season and sequence of bloom, color, height,
texture, fragrance. Unlike a canvas, the garden is constantly
changing. That is the challenge, particularly with blooming
things, which is my focus.
My
business has grown by word-of-mouth, both through my happy
clients and through professional nurseries that know my
work.
