Joy in oneself, Joy in the world. Mojo Healing Scholarship   Mojo Healing Scholarship Our desire at Mojo Healing is to heal by teaching skills that align Mind, Body, Spirit, and Expression. We are passionate about this cause and want to reach as many people as possible, especially those who want to be reached. In order to make our programs available to those in most financial situations we have developed the Mojo Healing Scholarship Program. The program offers a special rate of $25 per hour for services. Requirements I am looking to help people who are motivated and ready for healing. I'm talking about people who are ready to help themselves so that life is full of more joy, more peace, more learning, loving, sharing, and more. Do you have a positive attitude and want practice having it be even more positive? Are you ready to look at your self and see how you are creating situations in your life good or bad? Are you ready to allow your dreams to come true? If you have answered yes, wish you could answer yes or plan to be able to answer yes to these questions you are scholarship material. Mostly you need to be accountable. Our services require the participation of our clients, you will have to participate in creating the magic. This is the same for both paying and scholarship clients. So if you are still interested, and I hope you are, you are invited to follow the instructions below for assistance in the preparation and submission of your application. 1. Prepare a brief Essay (no longer than 3 pages, please) with any margin settings you prefer. Your Essay should be typewritten, double-spaced and in 11- or 12-point font. Arial or Comic Sans are preferred. Essay content should include the following: a. Name, phone number, email, and address. I need to be able to contact you regarding your application. b. Introduce yourself so I know who you are and a little bit of your story. c. Tell me how receiving the scholarship will benefit you. d. If you are honored with a scholarship you will be receiving the gift of my valuable time, skills, and years of experience creating the possibility that I can help you. I wish to create a karmic cycle so that as you receive you are also giving. So how will you pay forward the gift you receive? Be creative and don't feel that you have to be limited to the same types of gifts I will be giving you. You will have one month from the time you begin working with me to fulfill this promise so please select something that you feel you will be able to complete within that time frame. Share in your essay how you plan to pay into your positive karma bank. e. Come up with three ways that you can help spread the word about Mojo Healing, the services offered, and how they have helped you or others you know. You will be asked to use your ideas to help spread the word, one idea to be completed each month for three months. f. Share how you would like to be held accountable for these commitments. Do you want to send in reports? Write articles for our periodic newsletter? Call in and tell me what you did? Send a brief email? Create a way that feels good to you. I want to share your success in completing the cycle. So I need you to have a way to tell me about it. :0) 2. Submit your essay via email to creativesolstice@yahoo.com. You can send your essay as an attachment or in the body of your email. If you prefer regular mail, please call for mailing address. Other things to note include: There are a limited number of scholarship spaces available per week. Your appointments will be scheduled based on availability. We ask for your patience and awareness that you may sometimes need to have some extra time between appointments. Accountability is key. Commitment is key. If you fail to show up for an appointment you are no longer eligible to receive the scholarship. Your time is valuable as our time is valuable. If there are extenuating circumstances exceptions can be made. A valuable sentiment comes from the book The Richest Man in Babylon, "Keep all the commitments you make. And because of this, be careful of all that you agree to." The commitments you make in your application essay are in addition to any made during a session. Know in advance that you will probably be making other commitments to yourself and others during the coming months and plan accordingly. All scholarship awards are good for up to 12 appointments. After the completion of 12 sessions, clients may re-apply for scholarship. Renewal awards will be granted based on availability of scholarship space.
